When I first met James, I hadn’t sung for 17 years, in public, on stage, so I was absolutely terrified. His calm and great nature gently eased me back into the process, and then on stage we had such fun playing about, doing a bit of ‘Jazzy Joseph’. When people heard ‘dinner background music’ many thought they’d be stuck with a typical boring jazz band for the night, but you soon won the room over, and once everyone was ready to let their hair down, you put on a fantastic show, and had everyone up on their feet!
